BBQ and Smokehouse in Birmingham
Most places calling themselves a BBQ restaurant are grilling. We are smoking. Brisket goes twelve hours before it reaches a plate, and you can taste every one of them.
What comes out of the smoker
Twelve hour smoked beef brisket with house BBQ sauce, slaw and fries. Sticky smoked pork ribs with the Legends glaze. A full rack if one portion is not the plan. Pork belly burnt ends, which are the bit people fight over.
The Legends BBQ Board brings smoked brisket, pork ribs, pork belly burnt ends, BBQ wings, fries, slaw, pickles and house sauces to one board. It is built for a table and it is the thing to order first time.
Smoke takes time
Twelve hours is not a marketing number. It is how long a brisket needs before the fat renders properly and the bark sets. There is no shortcut and there is no way to fake it, which is why most kitchens do not bother.
Burgers off the same grill
The double smash burger, a brisket and bacon burger built on the same smoked brisket, and a tandoori chicken burger for anyone who wants the Indian side of the kitchen in a bun.
Where we are
30 Mary Ann St, Birmingham, B3 1RL, in the Jewellery Quarter. The same kitchen runs the tandoor, so a BBQ board and a lamb chop can land on the same table.
The smokehouse runs at this venue only. Our West Bromwich site serves the grill and curry menus.
